Gremmo Homes latest Display Home began with a simple concept – “Our objective was to create a contemporary design with a relaxed feel.” says Richard Gremmo. “There are finishes and inclusions that you wouldn’t usually find in a Display Home. We have over 20 years of experience as a custom home builder, and we are well aware of the design concepts and inclusions that are both popular and also functional. We have worked hard to create an adaptable layout that can be easily adjusted to accommodate unique circumstances such as narrow width lots and sloping sites”.
The home has a substantial street presence which is accentuated by two advanced native Brachychiton ‘Bottle’ trees. Welcoming wide formed stairs provide a subtle transition from the footpath to the entry of the home which is framed by a double storey glazed vestibule.
The façade of the home incorporates organic free formed stone walling with hardwood timber cladding to juxtapose the smooth rendered walls. Sleek commercial glazing lines combine harmoniously with an understated landscape design which addresses the slope of the site as well as the aesthetics.
The home has a Northerly aspect to its rear, providing a fantastic opportunity to capture the abundant light. The integration of the pool design also supplements the amount of light which the home harnesses and it is the fulcrum of the rear yard.
